2 a rough mix of this song appeared on cr-rs given out at the 2007 cmj conference under the name “out of this party.” the name was changed because it would have been the third so many dynamos song to have the word “party” in its t-tle.
3 “artifacts of sound” refers to the digital encoding of mp3s and cd’s. the phrase is taken from a conversation with chad matheny during an existential crisis over the release format of his emperor x material.
