just wanted to say thanks for listening to this album
we just wrapped it up a bit a go
and um
it’s kind of what i’ve been searching for awhile
it’s uh ashes to amber live experience
kinda closer to what you’d get at shows
you also might be asking yourself who and what is the american junkie
well it’s a concept of
where we are in the world
and each song has to do a lot about love
but there’s a lot of parallels that i’m drawing between a lot of things that feel a lot
a lot more different
is that the correct grammar
a lot more
more differently
they
it feels different than it did
when i was 7
13 years old
in the grand old years of 2007
or such … somewhere around there
i don’t know how old i was
i was a kid
but it felt different
and i feel like it has a lot to do with phones and televisions and technology and such
and it’s hard for me to relate to a lot of these things
but things for sure don’t feel the same as they used to
and um
that’s what this is about
