a blue water bottle
and i lost repeatedly
through the remainder of the year
but since i’ve been in lockdown
i haven’t known where the water bottle is
i think it’s still at school
but i have no way of knowing

and i miss that water bottle
it did a very good job
it was portable
and held my water without leaking
and those were the only qualifications needed to be
a good water bottle
