goodness… well, it’s kind of hard to describe because it’s really something that is expressed through one’s lifestyle. integrity, honesty, virtue, obedience, moral excellence… these are all words that could somewhat be synonymous with it yet they don’t really define it to its fullness. in a believer’s life, it could best be described as the manifestation of being led by and submitted to the holy spirit. we intake the truth of god’s word, it forms a clearer perspective of jesus’ beauty, and goodness is like the end product. it’s like the daily walk: you either let your foot follow your mouth or you end up putting your foot in your mouth. it’s bearing good fruit. it’s letting your light shine in a dark world to help guide those who are lost. light is not heard; it is seen nor does fruit make noise but it is tasted. to sum it up: goodness is found when people’s lives are enriched by yours as a testimony of your faith in jesus. and that’s goodness
