you know, usually when you create a body of work, an album
you’re very strategic* you have a goal or theme you kinda want to accomplish… but with “polaroids.”, we just created and we found ourselves with something special
and what that reminds me of is a portrait. you know, some of my favorite pictures are moments where you’re not really looking at the camera…
and i think some of those photos, some of those moments are just beautiful because the pressure of getting it right is off, it’s away…
you know, many times we want the exposure, we want the perfect picture in the frame, we want the highlight moment but we don’t wanna go through the waiting process…
if our life is like film, i know that it’s delicate, so we have to treat it very special, we have to treat it with care and most importantly, we have to know that it’s in good hands
our father is developing it each and every day. i think that’s what determines a good picture
