pastor: we all know that we’re imperfect. we make mistakes. wе sin. but what does the bible say about impеrfection?

pastor: well, let me tell you. the bible says that god loves us unconditionally, even though we’re imperfect

pastor: that’s right! god loves us just as we are. he doesn’t expect us to be perfect. he just wants us to love him and to love others

pastor: so, let’s not be ashamed of our imperfections. let’s embrace them and know that god loves us anyway

pastor: now, i’m going to invite our pastor of imperfection to come up and share a few words with us

pastor of imperfection: thank you, pastor. good morning, church

congregation: good morning!

pastor of imperfection: i’m here today to talk to you about my own journey with imperfection. i’ve always been a very self*critical person. i always felt like i had to be perfect in order to be loved and accepted. but i’ve learned that’s not true. god loves me just as i am, even though i’m imperfect

congregation: amen!

pastor of imperfection: i’ve also learned that my imperfections are actually a part of what makes me unique and special. they’re a part of my story. and i’m grateful for them

congregation: (cheers)

pastor of imperfection: so, if you’re struggling with your own imperfections, i want to encourage you to embrace them. know that god loves you anyway. and know that your imperfections are actually a part of what makes you special
