yes, it kinda sucks
’cause people are expecting sh*t
but they don’t know anything
because it’s just hype
they don’t really know history or anything
they just know one song and then
go based on that

’cause i expected that, you know
when i, when i started rapping, you know
people were like, “oh, so what? you’re gonna be, like, the next eminem?”
and it was like, no (annoying, right?)

man, it’s a lot of things
it’s a lot of uhh, personal things
um, whether it’s family or just stuff that i’m goin’ through
you know, in my career
and it’s a lot of things people are goin’ through (yeah)
that i feel like other rappers might not discuss
so, that’s—those are the things that i wanna talk about
just, things that you might—that other rappers might smack themselves and be like, “aww, why didn’t i make a song about that?” (yeah)

so i feel like in essence, i can change the game
and probably in a way that i don’t even know

for changing music as a whole
not just rap, not just whatever

i want to be a part of music forever

it’s in our nature to just talk about money and cars and, and women
that’s, that’s, you know, that’s the nature of the music
it’s party, it’s fun
but at the end of the day, there’s also a creative and artistic part that like, goes further than that
and i feel like that’s what i’m diving into on a lot of these songs
