a trembling hand dials the phone
on a cold and somber day that fall
police and fed’s now work the case
and found someone who could recall the face
in that car she entered, driven by a man
and so the search for chels’ began
frantic, fevered was the pace
a sprint against time in this morbid race
but the thorough search turned not a trace
what could be of chelsea’s fate?
a year passed by as the seasons change
fall, winter and back to spring again
until that day, down by the tracks
a fisherman found a skeleton
and so we learned of her horrific fate
when they examined her final resting place
her light snubbed out by a cowardly scum
now rots in prison for the sins he’s done
