“remember to remember” was never a thought in my mind, that i would end up writing and producing a ep, as meaningful and lyrical as this one. i had just finished releasing my “special message” video, when the thought of a extended-play randomly popped into my head. i had never known what a ep was, so i did some research, and decided that was something i’d wanna do. i had gotten in contact with a producer from soundrop, who helps me distribute my music, on a extended-play deal for 2019, which they granted almost immediately. after getting clearance, i started writing lyrics to instrumentals, working day and night to find the right beats for each lyric set, and then rapping over the beat to match the lyrics to the instrumental. each song in the rtr collection, each show a different vibe and/or emotion i had felt, during the thought process or making of each track. ‘unknown’ relies on my emotional distress mindset, with the mourning of the late rapper xxxtentacion. ‘god’s flow’, was a work-in-progress, that quickly became a unknown top track of the ep. the whole extended-play conveys my message i had tried spreading through ‘until i let go’, but had failed to. this is my second chance. i hope you listen, and finally understand how i feel. thanks for everyone who streams, downloads, or purchases this ep, if anyone does. just know you all are in my heart, and i will always think of you all constantly. thanks for supporting me at my low points, and encouraging me at my high tides!
