so much has occurred in this country because of race and religion. each day, millions of african-american teens growing up in the united states fear that they will die at the tip of a bullet from a white cop. the government has done little to stop these fears of violence and racism

trayvon martin, mixed on black — trayvon was only seventeen years old when he was shot and k!lled by supremacist george zimmerman. the man called into police nearly every time he saw an african-american teen. the police didn’t bother to take him seriously and consider him a threat to society

all trayvon did was walk to the store and buy skittles and arizona iced tea, and walk home. on his way home, he was racially profiled all because he was black, and wore a hoodie. zimmerman walked out and confronted trayvon. trayvon tried to fight back, but was overpowered

a grown man k!lled an innocent teenager all because he was black. zimmerman claimed that he “stood his ground.” the first he was tried, he was found not guilty

it took the life of a black youth getting taken to wake this country up and make them see the problems

in the last 14 years, at least thirty people die a month because of that law. out of that thirty, almost ninety-nine percent are innocent

please, contact the lawmakers in alabama, alaska, arizona, florida, georgia, idaho, indiana, kansas, kentucky, louisiana, michigan, mississippi, missouri, montana, nevada, new hampshire, north carolina, oklahoma, pennsylvania, south carolina, south dakota, tennessee. texas, utah, west virginia, and tell them to repeal this law and save lives. thank you
