you could say everything in life has two sides to it. generally, these are opposites to each other. there’s usually a dark side. it holds meaning, it holds secrets, harsh realities and truths. and there is a bright side. just as powerful, if not more. it also holds truth and knowledge, hope, faith and power
they always say positivity is key. but negativity is necessary
the original idea for this album was ‘greenery’. it looked to only explore the positive sidе of life. but as my life went on, i fеlt the reality of life, in particular the consequences of what happens when you do not respect what you have, or you’re calling

this brings me to green and black. life and death. hope and despair love and hate. knowledge and mystery. nuture and neglect. just to name a few
green is the colour of life. it surrounds us everyday and if it doesn’t… you’ll know
once a plant dies it begins to go black. after a forest has been scorched by a fire all that is left is black. black is the colour of death
black and white were the sides we were taught, but… this is outdated and unfamiliar. green and black is what surrounds us…
