####your rhymes:

-nothing alike/lyrical mike- is not a multi, as only -like and mike rhyme. a- and -al don’t rhyme when pr-nounced

-jordan and pippen/martians inventions- doesn’t rhyme at all

-usually body/medusa body- watch out for stuff like rhyming body with body, because it’s a h0m-nyn (two words/terms that are spelled and pr-nounced the same, but have a different meaning). in poetry this is often frowned upon, but in rap it’s considered [an art](http://rapg*nius.com/posts/48-rhyming-words-with-themselves-sort-of-top-ten-h0m-phone-rhymes-of-all-time). — anyway, this rhymed, and it’s a multi, as you rhyme two syllables at once. (-lly and -sa don’t rhyme)

-got the nine/hot with mine- might be considered a multi, as you rhyme got/hot and nine/mine. the/with doesn’t rhyme, but that won’t really matter to a lot of people when you rap, as it’s just small, standard words. this would be considered a rather simple multi btw. , as you rhyme 1-syllable words (see: j. cole) and they’re text-based. meaning that your stuff rhymes on paper. multi fans love it when you’re creative with what you rhyme

-medusa body/naruto uzamaki- is a lot better than the others because (1) you rhyme 4 syllables (–usa body/uzamaki-), (2) you rhyme using a word that is 4 syllables long, and (3) body/-maki is a pretty playful rhyme. -usually body/naruto uzamaki- is not that great though. you still rhyme -body/-maki-, but it’s only 2 syllables

####crucial points when using multis:

– —make sure it rhymes when you pr-nounce it.— – a lot of things you’re gonna end up trying won’t end up rhyming, but fortunately, there’s also a bunch that will rhyme. you’ve got to be creative, or you’ll run out of ideas quickly. there are endless possibilities when using multis in rap, simply because you pr-nounce your words. in a poem your -body/-maki- rhyme would’ve been horrendous, but when you pr-nounce it, it rhymes. there’s a certain kind of magic in sound; use it! you can shorten or lengthen certain syllables to make them rhyme. different accent cause different pr-nunciations, use that
– —use creative rhymes.— – seriously, my apologies for this to all the stans, but n0body wants another rapper that rhymes the same way j. cole does. it’s all extremely simple 2-syllable multis. you don’t want to be rhyming in a poetry fashion all day long, your fans will get bored of it too. like, there’s nothing special about rhyming -f-ck n-gga/suck n-gga- (i’m not saying cole did this). your last two syllables don’t even rhyme as they’re the same word, n0body cares about that stuff. take this kool g rap rhyme from “the anthem”, -redecorate/investigate-. that sh-t’s dope yo. it’s original, creative, playful. it’s nice to the ears. (the song is filled with multis btw, [check it out.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vlknc_lwnlk))
– —choose the length of your rhymes carefully.— – if you want to be a multi rapper, use multis that are longer than 2 syllables. there’s nothing special about 2 syllable rhymes, even “the message” it. (it makes me —wonder— how i keep from going —under— (great rhyme btw)). then again, don’t try to go for songs filled with 10 syllable rhymes. that’s suicide; it won’t sound dope anymore. like, elzhi could probably pull it off, but you’ve got to watch your subject matter too. don’t let multis ruin what you’re trying to say!

you should study some mc’s to get the hang of it. kool g rap, elzhi, eminem, pharoahe monch and mf doom make great examples in my opinion. study their rhyme schemes. look up their lyrics and see what and how they rhyme

i could post more, but i probably lost y’alls’ attention when you saw the length of this
