they need the claws to work and function properly for them!
the fur and paws are in the front and they’re before the claws
those claws have been protecting them since they were little kittens
look out! here comes a two paw declawing!
over their paws, meow*meow*meow, what a thing!
don’t do much to underwhelm it
but luckily those claws in there work like a built in defense!

that means the claws connect to the legs!

that means the legs connect to the shoulder!

cat claws are retracted by the bone
claws are then extended inbetween
cat legs work hard by the shoulders
so here’s what’s happening in your cat most every time they scratch ya!
now there’s a lot of other things we never get to see
and it does other kitty things that don’t show that obviously
talking about those lovely things that we all call tendons
you gotta treat em right and leave em be, or they could come to grief!
(meeooowww! oh, that hurt!)
just please remember, you gotta know this while you’re young!
give your cats some good old rerouting
cat claw covers, a paw or two
will help your cats to stay in shape and do not scratch for you!
