i continue to read “the house of hades”. hazel missed camp jupiter, which it had only been her home for 9 months, since nico had brought her back from the underworld. she wanted to have some time with frank zhang, her boyfriend. most of all, she wanted to feel safe, tired from being scared and worried all the time

i continue to read “the house of hades”. other crew members had taken the night shift. hazel wanted to wake them up, but they had earned their rest. hazel, leo, and nico were exhausted from defending the ship. a few weeks ago, hazel didn’t believe that anyone could sleep through mountain god’s attack, but now it’s a stupid question. “we need to find another way to travel” she said

i continue to read “the house of hades”. ever since their friends percy and annabeth had fallen to tartarus, leo had been working non-stop, angrier and even more driven than usual. to get to a place called epirus in greece, hundreds of mile, they have to cross mountains. the agro ii couldn’t fly high enough to avoid their attacks, and even with defenses, the ship couldn’t make across the range without being smashed to pieces

i continue to read “the house of hades”. “so crossing the mountains is out. thing is, they go a long way in either direction” leo said. they wanted to sail by sea because it’s safer, but it’ll take too long and they don’t have their “sea expert”, percy, son of poseidon. percy and annabeth had fallen in tartarus becasue they were trying to save the athena statue which could heal the gap between greek and roman

i continue to read “the house of hades”. the crew had started to lose its cohesion. they’d been learning to work as a team. then bam… percy and annabeth, 2 most important members fell down to tartarus. percy had been their backbone, he gave them confident since the quest started. annabeth had been the leader, the smartest, the one with answer. hazel wanted to find a way, so she called help from her father, pluto. then at the distance, something small moved with incredible speed. “it’s arion” hazel said
