for me, 2022 has been a crazy year
back then, i had my share of changes, hopes and fears
i’ve been through a lot since the last year came about
some of which, i admit, i don’t want to talk about
i made a few mistakes that left me feeling not so great
but i hope that the lessons learned can help me elevate
towards a better future where things are a little clearer
i just hope the good life i desire’s gettin’ nearer
’cause life is full of bullsh*t, that’s something i understand
something i had to learn, ’cause i’m not gettin’ younger, man
i’m midway through my 20’s, so i know i’m still young
i’ve got more living to do, i know it’s far from done
but every now and then, i just wish to sit back and reflect
paint some pictures in your mind with the words that i express
but right now, let me be honest while i take this breather:

that i can share my life with and all of its stress and laughter

maybe in the future, i’ll be wearing a wedding ring
