the depths of the culture shocking
heart wrenching, society breaking, relationship melting, destructive concept
fear
put your seat belt on cuz let’s begin

fear has its hands on the people of god like puppet strings
forcing them to make decisions in full control of their actions
some of us don’t even live anymore!
those thoughts are vicious
they control the human brain
fear has taken hold of the reigns
the struggle is real
why is this generation of minds so controlled by feeling
i’m not feeling it today
i don’t feel like doing this
i don’t feel like doing that
how do you feel?
bad? why
do you actually not want to go
you actually aren’t feeling it? or are you feeling fear

cuz these lies are ropes
pulling you closer to its control every time you think
what is the rope attached to? you don’t even know
if only this rope was rapunzel’s hair at the top of a tower
nah our generation ain’t gonna try such a task
why would you go up there you don’t know what’s up there!

cuz our rope is easy to grab

it’s right in front of us with its opposite sides attached to a void of unknown reality!
we don’t wanna admit but it pulls us in
and our hands bleed griping its intertwined lace so tightly

our hands have found a home on a bl–dy sharp tangled piece of twine

but i thought fear was fake?

fear is the realest emotional feeling since the fall
you know the fall? when they put hand made garments on and fled for their wrongs
so now we build fake fences and place them in front of our houses
as if we can’t jump them
but they aren’t suppose to be there
there like walls of toothpicks, with one touch they can crumble
but they look like daggers through fict-tious lenses

i’m not saying that fear doesn’t exist

cuz i am afraid too
i’m afraid that this album doesn’t appeal to you
that you won’t like it
that i’ll be made fun of
and won’t amount
i’ve spent hours writing
planning and publishing
but the rope pulled me in tight to a place where it would have been impossible
to cl!ck send to drop this project for all to listen
but it didn’t
i didn’t get pulled in far enough
i let go
and broke the stronghold set before me
we’ve gotta let our love lights shine a bit!

cuz this world has men like me trapped in rooms of fear
but some of us aren’t even men
their boys in thirty year old bodies
playing video games and inside hobbies
every single day!
the rope pulled them in tight
and trapped them in living graves

so what’s the biggest fear? fear of rejection some may say
im trying to break down my walls
its an infection
someone says “no” so i lie in a bed of rejection

comparison makes me a afraid
i don’t sound like those other guys
i don’t have that voice to covey interesting gripping messages
to make you continue listening to these 11 tracks

and it’s all because of expectations
eating away at what could be real
i expect you not to like it
cuz it’s me
a weak unworthy being

well the bible says there is no fear love
ok then i shouldn’t have any fears ever right
cuz he’s watching from above right
well he is glorious and is in control but
we are human beings, we want control
fear is present in a corrupt society of feelings
when feeling takes over we neglect him
but fake can be sought out
so pick up your pen and right to the fake
to the lies that keep you awake
kinda like my intro to you
this isn’t just a bunch of words on a page
it’s a farewell letter to that rope that’s pulling you in
i’m gonna cut it now and you should too goodbye fear
you have no place in this heart now
