i, uh, just woke up about 30 minutes ago
it’s about 12…it says 12:26
there’s a clock right in front of me, i can just read it
um, so, not much to, uh, to report so far, um
i mean, my brother and i were gonna go to a movie
and that’s not gonna happen because…you know (ahem)
so, um, might just have to do something awful
like watch one of the 900 movies we own collectively
ugh, imagine stooping to that lev* anyway
um, so yeah, this is about noon*ish, noon*and*a*half
i’ll update as the day goes on, i guess, so, bye

well, it’s, uh, it’s a bit later in the day, um, the clock says 12:49, so, um
i’ve just been sitting here, staring at my computer screen
listеning to this over and over
hoping that this comedy album thing actually works out
bеcause i know it’s very possible that this could just cause me
to completely lose all my motivation, and
so, trying to do one thing causes the exact opposite to happen, um
’cause, you know, it’s happened before, um
and this little electric piano loop i recorded is about to end
so, i guess i’ll leave again and try to come back at a much later time

you see, i thought it’d be a cool creative idea to record rain dripping off of my roof
but, um, yeah, in the recording it just sounds like urinating
so, i guess that’s what you get for…trying
you know what, let’s switch it up a little bit

because, then, i’d have to come up with something
and it is now 2:10 and not a thing has, has come
when i got out of my chair after finishing the last segment of this
i got up to move sp*ces and get my energy going and get some schoolwork done
and i, uh, i laid in my bed for an hour*and*a*half, scrolling through instagram
so, you know, productivity, whoo!
i don’t know yet what this song will be, or what its title will be
or if there will be anything more to it
i hoped to sing at some point in this song, but, you know
not everything goes to plan, i mean
i know i never planned to be locked in my room for 10 days
which, i know, comparing that to some other people’s experiences, it’s not a lot
i mean, some people had it much longer and went through much worse, um
but i have discovered in the last 24 hours that
if you allow demons to mess with you, they will waste no time in going to work
and i know, i* i* i* i, uh, advertised this as a comedy album
and it is a comedy album, but then, i’m unloading all this
so, like, apologies for that, but, um, i mean
i’m trying to find something funny, and um
if i do, you’ll be the first to know
but i don’t know yet

you know what i hate? i freaking hate seeing all these great ideas
on instagram and google and etsy, or whatever
and, like, great gift ideas for a significant other, like
i’m like, “oh! i would love to get th* oh.”
like, come on, that’s*
i mean, i know they’re not specifically targeting me
and i know that every time i tap on one, another one’s gonna get suggested
or, like, seven more are gonna get suggested, but like
it really feels like they’re targeting me
and like, in the past, being in a relationship, like
i had to do deep dives to find a, like, specific, personalized gift for my significant other
and, you know, like recently i’ve seen so many that are like
“oh that’s perfect for* that would be perfect”
and it’s like, no, it would be, but it’s not, because (sigh)
’cause you’re single
yeah, just throwing that out there for all the single fellas and…women?
