my depression was the worst thing i’ve ever gone through
cause it started out slow, like it was hallow, but too much to swallow
i started feeling empty, like i wasn’t sh-t to this world until i found a cute girl and then a relationship unfurled
she had the same problems i did
but we tore apart, and my emptiness hit me like a poisonous dart
it spread through my veins, went to my brain, starting to claim i wanted to die
how about i try, but i couldn’t
i reached out for help, told someone i needed protection against myself
i was so scared but then again so relieved because i was getting the help that i really really need
my family was scared to hear i was depressed cause they thought that i was happy with my life and not stressed
but it was just a mask family i hope you forgive me, cause i harmed myself badly and you don’t deserve to see me in this state of mind
