probably the most concise way to put it is that it feels, without a doubt, like the most unguarded and the most unfiltered album that i’ve ever been a part of
the themes that are there are subtler and kind of more personal and more dispersed: catastrophe, disaster, nuclear war, and i’m interested in the smaller versions of armageddon, and personal catastrophe
and so with the idea of pale horses being the symbol for that in the end times, just expressing it in different ways
you know, i -ssume also the world will end one day, and it’s an interesting fact, but i also wonder how attached can i be to anything, when everything’s just going to die, you know?
