it’s like the tenth king himself fights beside him

and he still fights on while remaining steady
but although the singh’s main cause is true
a strike from the crowd had managed to get through
now there’s a silence for a second or two
it’s hard to believe what true singh’s will do
the singh hit the floor lay down and bled
what were once blue clothes had now become red

cause he always lived ready to die
and just before he shouted out a loud battle cry
he said jis simrat sukh hoye sagle dukh jaye

and his soul’s lifted off the floor
