brutus is a person who loved the people of rome and would do anything for them. “not that i love caesar less but that i love rome more” (doc-ment a). this shows that brutus does care for caesar. but he loves the people more. brutus was the one who held to those ideals (doc-ment a). brutus thinks caesar’s a good leader but taking it the wrong way. brutus did want rome to be a democracy. brutus made all his political decisions for the better of rome
shakespeare portrays brutus’s by his motives for making the choices he made. brutus said “we shall be called purgers, not murders.basically brutus wanted to make it seem that he had to k!ll caesar. but at the same time he didn’t want a bad name for him self after k!lling caesar. this shall make our purpose necessary and not envious is what brutus said. again in this quote he wanted to make it necessary. summing all this up at the end he wanted to make it necessary.a big part of the portrayal of c-ssius has a lot to do with political and personal beliefs. a lot of things in the story is about personal stuff
the conspirator agrees to k!ll caesar anyone else close to him but brutus disagreed. brutus did not want to k!ll anyone else because that would not be right. there is no need to cut off caesars arms and legs. murdering caesar would be enough. brutus wants the murder to appear justified as being good. brutus is just as guilty as everybody else. even though he claims to julius caesar best friend, he still k!lled him. the plot to k!ll julius caesar is brutal and was planned by a group of his companions
