– interviewer: so what exactly do you mean by placebo affect?
– sid: you know, it’s all about that feeling, that moment of a day, when you’re walking home and you convince yourself you care about something, about someone. you wear a mask. a mask that can produce real expressions to blend with your surroundings
but the search for real feelings has been so long that you’ve learnt how to enjoy loneliness at it’s purest form. and that independence which can be rewarding for discovering the true self can also be the source of questions with nothing else but utopic answers
is being self-sufficient the last piece of the puzzle of life?
is the idea of really sharing your life related to a greater good?
or is it some weird mistake in the tree of evolution?
– interviewer: but, should utopic questions be answered?
– sid: sometimes i think not
but how can anybody ignore something when it suddenly reaches your consciousnesses in such a strong form
you can’t, you really can’t. that’s why i call this a project
what do i mean by project?
the process of identifying a need, a problem, a little scratch into your polished surface of life that needs to be taken care of
and then making a plan for dealing with it
it might succeed, it might fail
that’s what the placebo affect project is about
the utopic but daily search of real feelings, of reality, of life and consciousnesses in spite of the the fact that deep inside we are aware that it might exceed our capacity as human beings
a journey with no unique answer and the decisions we make to live with it
