the day is june 5th, 1965. the location is a small town much similar to many towns across america
a small boy named ronald devonshire walks out the back door of his apartment building and slams the screen door behind him. he is a young boy, approximately 8 years old. it is a balmy day

he eyes the sandbox in the back corner of the lot. he approaches the sandbox. it’d been raining all morning. he notices in the bottom of the sandbox a small puddle of water has formed. laying in the puddle is a peculiar looking, small red piece of plastic. it has a metallic look to it. it is shiny. it is red. he picks it up out of the sandbox
he picks it up out of the sandbox and examines it for a minute or two and immediately realizes that this small red piece of plastic is actually an alien form from the nimbus constellation, planet x*11 a. he is overjoyed with his find. he places it in the left pocket of his trousers and then begins to walk around to the front of the apartment building. he walks up to the end of the driveway and notices, out in the street, another small boy on a bicycle. he approaches the small boy and notices that he, too, has the same red piece of plastic on the back of his bicycle. ronald points at the object on the bicycle and looks up and says: “what is that?”
he says: “what is that?”
the boy on the bicycle looks down at ronald, sort of confused, and says: “that’s a reflector.”
“a reflector?” ronald asks him
the boy says: “yes, it’s a reflector.”
ronald says to the boy that he thought it was an alien life form from the constellation nimbus, planet x*11 a
