but my safety comes first and the weather is the worst
so my focus is a n-gga tryin’ to make it back home
i said, “i’m sorry love” as i’m hangin’ up the phone
and now we back on that traffic ish
and i’m like, “yeah, yeah, yeah another accident.”
somebody gets hit, try get out the cars
and exchange y’all insurance and you tally up the damages
so now the traffic is switched up to one lane
dang, i ain’t never gon’ never make it home, i’m ’bout to go insane
i just wanna get back home to my writin’
so quit rubber neckin’ and drive it’s nothin’ that excitin’
but as your boy got closer
i’m noticin’ the air ain’t feelin’ like it’s suppose to
i’m seein’ three cars, one honda accord totaled
with a body layin’ dead on the highway shoulder
my jaw dropped as i stared through my car gl-ss
wanna escape but ain’t no choice but to inch p-ss
at least the cops had a heart try to cover up the body
with a big yellow tarp but the blood sept through
it’s jacked up that a big school bus full of kids had to witness that too
now i’m ashamed that i’m b-tchin’ and complainin’ ’bout life
and gettin’ home when they didn’t get to make it
