what was your inspiration to start making music ?

my grandmother, she always loved music
and showed me so many different genres
of music and when she died i mad my
studio in her room

when did you start making music how old are you and where are you based ?

i originally was in bands at the age of
fourteen where i played guitar and was
lead vocals i then went solo at 16 and
based myself out of my bas*m*nt

what are 3 tips you have for upcoming artist that wanna get into music ?
*

1st never quit 2nd always try to create
something that is both interesting for the
ear and something that hasn’t been heard
before 3rd don’t worry about the numbers
worry about the people that are your fans

what is it about you that is different from other artist ?
*

i make music in so many different genres
and most of my music is genreless

what are your goals with being an artist ?
*

i wanna be the reason someone who’s
dealing with difficult emotions is able to
cope and feel better because if it weren’t
for the music i listened when i was going
through it i probably wouldn’t be here
where do you see yourself 5 years from now ?

hopefully on stage with the crowd signing
back my songs

how did you come up with your name ?
*

velinz comes from the roman numeral 7
because triple 7 is one of my angel
numbers and veins comes from cutting
because i used to be suicidal so i’m trying
to take that negativity and turn it into
something positive

what’s your message to the youth ?
*

don’t ignore your pain it’s ok to feel

what are some challenges you’ve faced as an artist and how did you overcome them?
*

my parents never supported my
aspirations to become an artist because
they think i’d never make anything of
myself

what style would you consider your music to be ?
*

alternative mixed with r&b, hip hop and
emo rock
